PROGRAMS

S.T.A.N.D. is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before, and we are very proud of the progress we continue to make. Below are some of our most recent projects.

VIOLENCE PREVENTION

This program is geared both men and women and it helps them with their self-esteem, helps them with job search, self-respect, with trust issues, and teaching them how to live after the abuse.

BORN WITH A PURPOSE

A mentoring program with men and women volunteers that come and volunteer their time to impact a youth that is currently in the shelter and assumes the responsibility to ensure that they stay on a positive path. This program is for the age group 8-18 years old.

FINANCIAL LITERACY

Your financial education is only as good as your ability to apply it. That's why we're here to help you get a handle on your money, so that you can use it to make the most of your life.

WORKSHOPS

We offer a variety of housing assistance programs to help make your transition into a new home as easy and seamless as possible.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

ENGAGEMENTS

We also host a 10/5K Run/Walk in Arlington TX to promote Domestic Violence Awareness. During our events we honor a victim that has overcome or lost their life behind Domestic Violence.

We also host a Co-Ed Softball tournament in Houston TX.
